Dr. Brown was our baby's pediatrician until I recently switched to another pediatrician because Dr. Brown did not diagnose our baby correctly on anything. I literally had to self diagnose each thing that was wrong with our baby from thrush to acid reflux. Each time I brought my baby to see Dr. Brown, I would say what I thought was wrong and Dr. Brown waouldsay that our baby did not have what I thought was wrong. And yet, as the symptoms got worse I would return to the office and see another Dr. (because Dr. Brown was either on vacation or working at the other location) and the Dr. that I did see indeed said that our baby had what I thought she had. After speaking with a friend of mine of my frustrations with Dr. Brown, my friend said she too orginally brought their child to see her and also switched because Dr. Brown did not correctly diagnose in their case either. As a matter of fact, their child had such a bad case of reflux that it required surgery. I think Dr. Brown is more concerned about promoting her book that she co-authored or doing interviews with Rachel Ray than she is with her own patients. I have learned through this that you really have to be an advocate for your children and am glad that I have since changed pediatricians. I will say one positive note about this office and that is that they have weekend hours.
Pros: Weekend office hours
