I dont know where these above average reviews are coming from, but i've been here several times (not by choice you see...graduation parties for friends, etc.), and every single time it was disappointing. First of all, it is SO noisey and crowded. Most of the time there is a wait with people standing in the front waiting to get called in for their table (why people would wait by choice, i dont know). Secondly, the food is far below average. Being of italian decent, i find it insulting that this place is rated highly. It is one step above The Olive Garden. I had gnocci one time and it literally tasted like unflavored raw dough sitting in watery ketchup. However, the wine menu is SURE TO IMPRESS! Ask about their wine selection! JUST ASK! There is ONE type of each wine! ONE! i asked for a glass of ""the"" chard and actually sent it back because it tasted sour, only to have it replaced with ""the"" pinot, which i took one sip of and left on the table. Eggplant parm is a travesty! a watery mess! If you go there, just fill up on the bread they give you in the beginning. Its cheap though...thats the only plus.
Pros: cheap
Cons: noisey, crowded, food, wine selection
