I've been to Tan Tan for lunch, dinner and for my midnight munchies. The food is always very good and consistent. The service usually is bad but I expect that from a true authentic Chinese restaurant. I do notice that the past few times that I've been, service has picked up, which I was pleasantly surprised by. But you can't go wrong with pretty much anything on the menu... and there are lots to try out on the menu. It is always crowded and noisy but the place is big and we never have to wait for a table. They also always have a couple of HPDs there so safety shouldn't be an issue.
