I live in the neighborhood and Venice is my favorite place. The owners, Alesandro and Mario, are warm, friendly and inviting and thet seem to remember your name even after only couple visits. I' ve now been 4 times in a couple of months, and they greet us like we are old friends. The food is outstanding like my other favorite small restaurant in DTC (Chianti). I think they own more retaurants, but does not feel like a chain restaurant.. You get a lot of bang for your buck. Salads and few main courses are to die for (I love the veal caprese) and the seafood cioppin.
Pros: free valet, amazing food, great people, stunning wine list
Cons: reservation even on a monday
