I joined an old friend for dinner at Rey's about a month ago. I was extremely disappointed. The food was o.k. at best. I have had better salmon at the Outback (which is usually a last choice). The steak looked good, but it's really not that hard to grill a steak. Everything else was second-rate- table service, the ambiance was stale, they served bottled water (in a .99 cent plastic bottle?), bad salad and overall there was nothing special about the place. For what they tout, they have certainly missed the mark. I am amazed that there is a 9.6 rating. People- you need to get out more often.
