I was invited to Incontro for a 40th anniversary party a few weeks back. My boyfriend was hosting it for his parents and chose Incontro because it was relatively new and close to his parents house. He reserved a table for 15 guests about a week or two in advance. However, due to some family coming in from out-of-state last minute there ended up being a few more. When he found out that morning he called to tell them that there may be another 2 people in the reservation. He was told by the hostess that they didnt have the room to seat us. Without telling us that they had private rooms that would seat 25 people that were available, they were ready to turn down a party of 18 (imagine that???). After speaking with several people he asked if they had private rooms available which they did and he reserved one. \r

When we got there that night we were seated in the private room and ordered some cocktails to wait for everyone to arrive. There happened to be a 15-year old cousin who came along with his parents and was sitting with everyone in the private room drinking water. When the waitress asked for his ID we were told that everyone had to be 21-years-old in the party and that the parents had to bring their child downstairs and couldnt eat with us for his aunt and uncle's 40th anniversary. \r

It was unreal. The amount of business that this restaurant lost that night when we all walked out was obscene. Never mind ruining a 40th Anniversary party for an entire family. Its a shame that a restaurant that is in Franklin, MA could have such an attitude and I would firmly not recommend this restaurant to anyone. I cant wait for the day that this snobatorium is bankrupt and promptly turned into a SUBWAY. \r
