When GF and I go into Austin, and its my turn to pick the place to eat, I usually choose Amayas just for their beef tacos. The meat is well-seasoned, and the fillings are plentiful (especially the cheese), but I think its the homemade corn tortillas that really makes them great. They are kinda half-fried, half-baked (kinda like me, I guess), giving them a unique texture and taste. The downside is that they are just in Austin. They used to have a place in Bastrop, but they closed it, much to my dismay.
