My wife and I parked in their very small parking lot (maybe six spaces) with the intent to go shopping at a nearby store for a minute ending up in the establishment to have a drink. Upon leaving the car and walking across the street I was berated due to leaving the car in the parking spot and not entering the bar as soon as possible by one of the female co-owners. I quickly advised her in a calm and respective tone that we would be back in a minute to have a drink or two upon our return. She then proceeded to tell me she lives in the building and these parking spots are like her ""driveway"" and how would I like it if she parked in my driveway. Please take note that the building was freshly painted and there was no sign posted that these spots were for Usher Inn patrons only. She then continued to berate me and threaten to tow my vehicle. This is when I conceded to the fact that she was not a reasonable person . I cannot believe that every person patronizing that bar has never ""ran"" across the street for a ""hot"" minute to pick up something and returned to the establishment to procure a beverage. In my opinion if she would have requested politely whe move our vehicle since the signs for the parking have yet to be posted I would have had no problem but to ""come out swinging"" was unnecessary. Maybe she was having a bad day but as an owner of a bar I would think having new patrons come into your business is a good thing. To make a long story long, let this bar only serve the few patrins it has and let it succumb to the more friendly bars who are just happy to see you walk in the door.
