I haven't been to Dominick's since I was 13 years old. My father used to take me there before Yankee games and it became a childhood memory that will never be forgotten. 27 years later I had the opportunity to return with my wife and kids and not much has changed. Family style tables, no menu's, wait staff that might as well be family....and then the food. The bread...the antipasta...that alone is worth going for but it doesn't stop there. Our waiter had all of our favorites made to order however I have to go back after seeing all the different food going by to other tables. I know it must have been delicious. Stuffed artichokes, broccoli rabe, Italian roasted chicken, meatballs, veal chops...I'm going back next month. We went on a Wednesday night at 7:30 pm, expecting to wait however we got seated right away. Very reasonable price wise....family of 5 for $130.00...ya can't beat that. If your going to Little Italy...the Bronx you have to stop at Dominick's....just don't expect white table clothes and romantic seating. Expect a unique dining experience.
Pros: High quality Italian food, unique ambience
Cons: Arthur Ave is more difficult to find than Mulberry St
