This place has excellent coffee. With that being said, I would rather drink sub par coffee rather than deal with the Stumptown staff. They are rude and unfriendly. For a while I put up with the poor customer service to get a good cup of coffee. Today I ordered a drink and I got a paper cup that was split at the seam. When I took the cup it broke and my drink spilled on another customer. The three Baristas watched the whole thing go down and their response was to hand me a dirty towel to clean up the mess. At the very least they could have offered an apology or a new drink. I will never go back to Stumptown.
