When I went to see Virginia I was at a true crossroads: I had been living in Hollywood for four years, bouncing from job to job, and feeling very stagnant in LA. I had applied to graduate school in Manhattan and gotten in. Now my question was: Do I stay in LA, and plug away at my goals? Or do I move to New York, go back to school, and begin all over again? I received my answer through my hypnotherapy session with Virginia. In hypnosis, she asked me to visualize my life in LA six months into the future: I vividly saw myself driving in my car along Sunset Boulevard, feeling like the drive was endless and without a destination. She then asked me to do the same with NY: I was sitting on the stoop of a brownstone in Brooklyn, looking out at my neighborhood, feeling a little nervous, but peaceful. That was my answer. I moved to Brooklyn that year (into a brownstone); I received my Masters degree from NYU; I have a new career in business writing and a wonderful job; and as a bonus, I met an incredible man who is now my husband. And were expecting our first baby in April! I believe that my session with Virginia facilitated a major change in my life. I will always be grateful for what she gave me that day.
