I have been a patient of Dr. Akin for 5 years now. After coming to College and looking for a Gyn, I was pointed to him by my ex-boyfriends mother. Now, 5 years later, I'm still pleased with him and his office. I just spoke with them today, actually. Marge, in particular, was very helpful.
Truth be told, I have had to wait to see him, sometimes for an hour- but honestly, you can't expect a Gyn, who's also an Ob to be on-schedule. If you want someone that you won't have to wait for, then go to a person that only practices Gynecology.
Dr. Akin is a smart and professional Doctor, who made me feel comfortable at the age of 18- in a new town.
