My friends and I were going to Zibibbos to celebrate my friends birthday. As a novice baker, I baked and brought a rather unsightly gingerbread cake. When I presented it to the host for refrigeration in the kitchen, we exchanged knowing smiles about the aesthetics of the cake. He said, Well see what our pastry chef can do about this. After a wonderful meal of ahi tuna, delicious risotto and a several small plates, it was time for dessert. Indeed, the pastry chef had transformed my ghetto homemade cake into what the host and I now called, ghetto fabulous. The food was great, but the service was impeccable!
