The previous reviews seem outdated to me. Those who complained in the past were probably justified at the time, but Hoffman's has undergone major changes. We recently had a great experience. The quality of their product remains excellent - reminiscent of the original owner's attention to quality. Why? the former Head Baker returned and I think she's now in charge after a string of rude/poor management. All I know is the rude woman who was in charge before is gone. My daughter had her wedding cake made by Hoffman's this past fall (October, 2005) and we can't say enough about their attention to detail, and above all their talent to make what was agreed by everyone to be the best-tasting wedding cake we'd ever eaten. ALL of our guests would recommend Hoffmans' to any future brides out there, (and really, any other cakes too) - we sure do.
