I joined Vygor about nine months ago as someone who had never stepped foot in a gym before. The staff was very friendly, and I was surprised at how comfortable I felt there. They get a really mixed crowd. During the day, it's a lot of middle-aged/older people. Around early evening, you get a lot of the younger crowd. A lot of the time, I have the place almost to myself. It's very clean and well-kept, and I rarely (almost never) have to wait to use equipment. I also did personal training for the first six months or so, and I really feel like I got a lot out of it (I trained with Erin).
Overall, it's an excellent value and I recommend it.
