We ordered food to be delivered to our hotel. They told us 1/2 hour. After an hour we called and they said the driver was on his way. 15 min later, we called and got the driver's cell phone. He said he had an accident. After another call, we learned the accident was that he dropped our food. We asked how much longer. He said 20 minutes. This was after waiting 1 1/2 hours. He also would not agree to give us any compensation for the inconvenience. The restaurant pretended not to know about his ""accident,"" but later we found they did. After not getting a straight answer from them, or our food, we canceled the order, yet they charged my credit card anyway. When I called, they said they thought I was going to have my credit card company stop the transaction!
