I have a small dog and have always worried about boarding him. I had boared him once and they did a great job but I was told he fought with the bigger dogs so when I had to take just him to be boarded due to a guest who was allergic to dogs- Fireplug Inn was the place.
Fireplug Inn only takes smaller dogs. That is dogs that are less than 25 pounds. I think it is a great idea for people who have small dogs that think they are big dogs (like mine)!!
The staff was wonderful and the place was very clean. I was impressed with the facilities and the amount of space they had for the little dogs. The price was average for the area and the activities they supply the dog.
You can also take your dog there for day care. I think this would be great for people with only one pet who have to leave them at home all day!
PROS: Great , clean facility
CONS: Hard to find without directions
