I have only dealt with Rent a center on one occasion and do not plan to do so ever again. My washer broke down and I was in need of a new one. While waiting for my income tax check to arrive, I decided to rent one from them for a month. Upon renting my dryer, I paid my month in full. The brought the washer to my house, dropped it off in my laundry room without even hooking it up for me. One week left on my rental agreement they called me asking for payment for the next week. I told them I was returning the item and already had a date scheduled for pick up. The Manager got on the phone and told me he was coming to pick my washer up that day if I did not arrange a payment with him for the following week. They were very rude to me, to the point of harrassment. I kept the washer till my month was over, and I ignored the 25+ calls made to my house thanks to caller ID. I have filed a complaint with MIchigans BBB and the US BBB.
