It's safe to say we've eaten our last meal at the Mayan.
The new cafeteria system makes what at least used to be a unique restaurant feel like the ultimate turn 'em and burn 'em joint. We never felt relaxed enough to enjoy the dining experience. The food was average. The menu seems to have been reduced by about 50%. More empty tables than full tables zapped the energy that used to be there. Even my 9 year-old (which is the only reason we go to the Mayan) was dissappointed.
Larry, you made a mistake. It was terrible.
