Chicagoan know there are only two reasons why this famously dingy, underperforming, over-priced dive does any business: 1) its location across from Wrigley Field, and 2) the word ""Cubby"" in its name. Here's a typical experience: Out-of-town guests insisted on having brunch there to watch the Chicago Bears home opener, and not only couldn't these guys pick up the game, but when a group of irate Bears fans informed the staff and manager that the game wasn't coming on, they merely shrugged their shoulders and directed people to watch the ""Browns"" game instead and enjoy their breakfast, which (surprise) was horrible (dishwatery eggs was the ""hightlight""). Our group had to leave to in order to see the game. In short, this place is bad. Unfailingly bad. Kinda like a certain team that plays across the street (but at least THOSE Cubs offer a great place to watch a game).
