We were with State Farm for about 4 years (just on our vehicles) when we purchased a home. We wanted to get them to also cover our Homeowners Insurance so it would all be in one place. They sent an agent out and refused to cover our home because the roof was over 3 years old! Let me see....... it passed inspection but they won't cover it?! Then we starting checking around and found out we were being overcharged for our car insurance. We went to Allstate and they happily covered our vehicles and our home! What a crock!
