Friday night. By phone they said ""hour wait,"" but @ 9:30 plenty of tables, inside & out.
Food was great. Grilled sausages, spicy beef tenderloin (not spicy but good), baked egg/sausage, grilled veggies (YUM) = all outstanding.
However, service (patio-main level & upstairs) = terrible. Upstairs, I went to the bar after not being noticed for 15 minutes. Downstairs, the server didn't know about wines, so when we asked for suggestions she said she'd ask, but she didn't. Finally, we asked another server to retrieve wine person, & a very friendly wine guy then helped select a great bottle ($28). Warning - they're all Spanish wines you've probably never heard of. Their wine list is unhelpful.
Beware - after 10 pm it's ""late"" menu = limited--only 2 desserts.
Solera was pretty dead after 10pm.
The food was more of a value than other reviewers mentioned, but service is weak spot.
Pros: Food
Cons: Slow & Snotty Service, Dead--on a Sat night!, Unhelpful Wine List
