Worst experience at the NYC midtown location. After taking 2 nibbles of the Chicken Katsu advertised as ""Best Chicken Katsu"" on their menu, I determined it was undercooked, fatty, tendony, fried at too low a temperature...slimy...and all around inedible. I politely told the cashier that I didn't care for the meal and would appreciate a refund. She called the owner who told me that I had bought it, it had already cost him money, and if I was a ""gentleman"" I would accept that fact. I pointed out that it was ill-prepared and I could not eat it, and he flat out refused to give me a refund...nor did he offer to prepare something different. Ok. What can you do. Just dont go there!
