Everyone I've introduced to Beal's in the Old Port has, like myself, fallen in love with it. I always make it a point to stop by when they're open. It's always exciting to see the new flavors they have (which is often). They make a teaberry ice cream, which you can't find anywhere else, and is a definite treat. I find that I'm never disappointed in the amounts, texture, and flavors they have to offer. Try Lover's Delight if you get the chance...
Pros: awesome flavors, good hide-away
Cons: unfriendly staff, too short a season
