I always liked the selection at Petco. As far as getting a pet they can do better. I recently went to the petco in boston and they have cat adoptions all the time whereas the ones in california only go on on sundays. I got a cat there once and it was sick, had to be on a special diet and was a biter. All things which they don't tell you when you get one.
