This is one of my favorite little markets--they carry a variety of Japanese and ethnic foods, and they also carry great Hawaiian foods such as Hurricane Popcorn from the Hawaiian popcorn company.
You can also find great little snacks, such as manju from the nearby Manju shop on Jackson.
If you go there regularly like me, they'll start to recognize you and remember your name. I adore the people who work there.
They have a deli in the back where you can get sandwiches, and you can custom order the sandwiches too!
The downside is their business hours are a bit short, so it cuts back on the convenience factor.
PROS: Great staff, great selection of food and snacks
CONS: Tiny, less than desirable business hours
