Fine dining in Sacramento? Well, this is probably as fine as it gets. The luxurious interior oozes an aura of wealth and decadence which can be only match by the quality of food. Although the Firehouse tends to stick with more traditional and safe dishes, it excels with preparation and taste. The seafood was well grilled and memorable. Unfortunately the mash potatoes were luke-warm and the special butter was just that. Coming from Maryland, I have to say the crab appetizers were disappointing as well, but I have to admit Ive been spoiled by good Maryland blue crab. Overall a fine dining experience with attention to service and food.
