I went to Suchi for my birthday and i can honestly say I have never had Indian food quite like this in the close to one hundred or so I have been to across the country. The only word I can find to describe it is ""homestyle"". Nothing particularly fancy about the presentaion or the place itself. I recommend aloo mattar, a potato and peas dish in spicy gravy, still on my mind a month later. Warning to those unable to handle spicy foods... they have a scale: mild, medium, spicy, very spicy and extremely spicy. I usually find that most Indian places generally figure that the American palate is pretty wimpy (which, in comparison to the Asian palate... it is) and spicy is basically mild to me. I ordered very spicy... and it was VERY spicy. It was good though, nice that they didn't dumb it down. Great spot!
Pros: Huge menu, truly authentic, spicy for once
Cons: somewhat simple decor
