We stopped here after a day of hiking on Mt. Hood, and it was a good call. Most everything on our plates was home-made, including the gravy and the mashed potatoes. All dinners come with bread and soup or salad, and prices are about what you'd expect for a ""family restaurant"" ($8-$9 for most entrees). We don't have kids, but it seemed like it would be a good place to take them; there's Old West stories on the placemats and old-fashioned candy by the register. Our only complaint was the really horrible Top-40 country muzak. Pros: Homemade food, Easy access, Reasonable prices Cons: Bad muzak more
