The first time we ate here it was on a cross country drive and we wound up in Columbus by accident..a lucky accident, at that. The second time we ate here was also on a cross country drive and this time we planned it so that we could eat at Schobel's. It's not that the food is so unusual or special. It's just that it's consistently good all-American chow that tastes good and makes you happy to have it. If they have the buttermilk pie on the menu, order it! It's outstanding.
