In Frederickburg, that hub of all things German, I have found my absolute favorite Italian restaurant . . . Pasta Bella. Food is wonderful, especially their lasagna. Service is consistently excellent and friendly, with the owners frequently on hand greeting guests and doing a good deal of the cooking! Highly recommended. Make reservations, though, because it does tend to become crowded in the evenings.
