I went to W.H thinking I would be in sophisticated nightclub ... what a bad assumption on my part! If you are a hip-hop/reggae fan, the night I went, the hip-hop room was small, cramped, and HOT. You could feel the steam coming from the hip-hop room as soon as you came downstairs. The guys were really aggressive- more aggressive than at any other club I've been to in NYC. I didn't pay to get in, but if I would have paid the $30 they were charging, I would have been very angry. One of the girls I went with hated it so much that she stayed for about 30 minutes, then went home by herself. It's a waste of time considering all of the other options you have in NYC nightlife.
