After hearing so much about Bottega my standards were obviously quite high. But I don't think that's why I was disappointed. The food is below average, especially since the owners claim to be Italian. They obviously have never had good Italian food. The pasta is overcooked and the sauces are way too sugary. In additon, the pasta has not been cooked in water containing enough salt. However, the interior is cute and cozy as everyone sits next to eachother on long benches.
