I went to Baby A's for the first time on a beautiful Austin Saturday afternoon. I should have known better because Shady Grove and Chuey's both had long waits and Baby A's was half empty. The food was okay at best. It reminded me of going to a ""Mexican"" restaurant in my small MidWest hometown. But mediocre food isn't what promted me to write a review... it was Sunday afternoon when I went to Shady Grove to eat. Baby A's had the worst singer I have ever heard. I think it was a little girl, which would be fine for a church picnic, but not for your restaurant on a beautiful Sunday. You can't swing a stick in Austin without hitting a good band, so why they choose this, I don't know.
Pros: Prompt seating, Decent patio
Cons: So-so food, Terrible music
