They have only been open for 3 weeks and Volterra has a loyal customer for life. Without a doubt, the best Italian food in the city. Chef Don Curtiss (of Andaluca, Assagio, al Boccalino, etc.) has an incredible talent for putting his unique twist on traditional italian dishes married with the freshest ingredients. All organic veggies and free-range/natural meats adorn the menu. The dining room is stunning---alabaster light fixtures imported from Volterra reflect a heavenly glow from the deep red walls.
