I first came to the Cafe nearly 2 years ago during my first ever visit to San Francisco. I started with the steamed mussel appetizer, followed by the rack of lamb entree', finished with a desert sampler for the table (I recommend as you get a little serving of each of the desserts for about $8 per person.) The food was exceptional, service hospitable, and the setting was quite entertaining. We were seated in the wine cellar, although tiny and loud, it was an experience. My next visit was dissapointing. I again had the lamb entree' which seemed as though it had been sitting under a heat lamp waiting for the veal scallopini to arrive. My girlfriend ordered the Sea Bass, cold at first, sent back, only to arrive then overcooked. Our server was rude and unattentive. We left with a disspointing feeling nearly spending $150 for dinner for three.
Pros: fairly priced
