i was surprised by the bad review above. i have been to this restaurant several times, both for lunch and dinner, and have found the food to be consistently great. the ma po tofu is some of the best i have ever had (and i make a mean one myself). service does get less-than-stellar when it's crowded, and like most places of this genre the atmosphere does not inspire romance. but if you're looking for really, really good sichuanese, check it out.
