We go back to Nobu each time we're in Las Vegas, which, if you're from San Francisco, is really saying something. I love the ""new-style"" sashimi and the white fish toradito. My dining companion is a certified hard-core sushi freak, and was wowed by the quality of the toro and the kampachi. The biggest surprise was the yummy banana spring roll dessert, one doesn't normally associate sushi places with good desserts. Our one caution about Nobu would be the pricing on the menu. Although an order of toro nigiri is two pieces, the menu price ($12) is per piece. The check included $48 for two orders of toro. Be careful! We are, however, willing to pay this once a year for the exeptional fish at Nobu.
Pros: sushi quality, original dishes, atmoshere
Cons: tricky pricing
