I just took some out-of-town relatives to Villa Romana for the first time. After tonight, they may come back to California just to eat here! I have been eating at Villa Romana since I first discovered it in 1980. This year, they celebrate their 50th anniversary of high quality, high class Italian dining! I have eaten at more than a few other Italian restaurants in the City and elsewhere, and this is the best I have had. They have never disappointed me, whether with their awsome pizza or a magnificent Italian feast like we had tonight. Although the grape covered ceiling and tableside jukeboxes are gone (I miss them), this restaurant continues to turn out excellent Italian dishes that are true treats for the palate. If you haven't tried this gem, you owe it to yourself! The service is excellent, prices reasonable, and the owner Tony is a class-act.
Pros: Reasonable prices, Excellent service, Amazing food
Cons: Parking
