Once I made it past Cancer Alley (aka the casino) and up the elevator - my God the hallway on the ""Non-smoking floor"" smelled like a cross between a smokers' lounge & wet dog. My room was of decent size but smelled like smoke, the floor was disgusting, wallpaper curling off and the water in the shower took about 5 minutes to warm. I was stuck in the South Tower and the damn TRAINS start really coming thru about 6am - MISERY. Bartenders are very slow the Casino even when I wanted to buy a drink. The Sports Book was pretty good thing though: decent seating, lots of tv's and friendly people taking your wagers. The 'Little Strip' is right across from the hotel. I would never recommend this place to anyone and will stick to The Strip from now on.
