It's like drinking in one of the period rooms in the Metropolitan Museum. A truly magnificent space with lots of centuries old handcrafted woodwork (esp. that ceiling!) and well designed lighting. Sure, you'll get a lot of Metro North commuters sprinting out to get their trains, but when it's not too crowded you can enjoy that transcendent feeling of being in the grand hall of an Italian renaissance estate as you sip your martini and look up and around...
