Villa Romana is as close to a 5 star restaurant that I've ever been to in the inner sunset district...the service was superb, the food was impeccable, and the ambience was very Italian. The pizza was prepared by a real Italian who must be the owner because he sent over a complimentary ""pizza bianca"", which I had never tried before...it was delicious. The walls were covered with really old frescos which looked very new, I guess they just refurbished them. The waiters were Italian and were so cute and helpful. Great place.
