This is my favorite sushi restaurant in L.A. The food is presented immaculately, with a macrobiotic influenced menu (kinpira, marinated lotus, burdock root, etc). The ""energy salad"" is absolutely healing. Be sure to try the daily specials. They've really thought out each dish, everything is presented artfully - this is what makes San Sui (""mountain river"") outstanding.The service was so fast it seemed like they read our mind before we even ordered. The ambiance is nature meets modern Japanese. And for all this, the prices are not high. A warm and healing restaurant with spot-on flavor and excellent service. Sit inside or out, you feel like you are in nature.
