Just read the review titled ""needs lots of work"" and was wondering if we ate at the same restaurant. I too ate there last night on the 21st. We had a 7:30pm reservation and were immediately seated. The restaurant is goregeous and I did not think this restaurant is a case of ""style over substance."" It was clear to us that the staff were all season pros of the best restaurants in San Francisco, very very professional. I think we probably had 5-6 people attending to us including the general manager. The food albeit pricey is beautifully presented, complex, and tasty.
