Both of my preschool girls do not like getting haircuts and I have had to endure their refusals and tantrums in the past, yet our experiences at this salon have been just the opposite. My four year-old was actually eager to get her hair cut and she sat quietly watching TV and came away with a lovely, fashionable style. My two year-old was the bigger test case, of course. She just needed a bangs-cut and isn't fond of strangers. But we let her play around the play area first to get acclimated to the new place, and the stylist approched her with finesse (Parents know only some people know how to introduce themselves to a skittish toddler!). My toddler, too, happily sat watching television, got a good cut, and was charmed by her free toy. We'll be back...
