I was eagerly awaiting my introduction to Orso, alas you never get a second chance to make a first impression. The service is more than indifferent, bordering on rude. You also never know who your waiter is, since anyone will come to your table to take your order deliver your food, ignore you...etc. The maitre'd seems to careless. At these prices, I am not expecting to be treated like a king but some recognition would be nice. And the food is very tasteless... I know that in LA good Italian food is hard to come by, and it ain't to be got here. I got the pasta with mixed seafood.. too much sauce and bland at that... the patio is lovely, but it is Los Angeles and most restaurants in this town worth their salt have lovely patios as well.
