Pleasantly surprised w/ my experience at The Girl and The Fig. We made reservations the day of. Had a corner table next to a window to the main street, sitting in the back room might be uncomfortable, they're next to the restrooms. The Works was the first course. 3 different cheeses (the restaurants selection) with nuts, fig cake, olives, fruit and bread. Incredible and delicious. Large plate for 2 people. Next, the fig salad (signature salad) also large enough to share, equally delicious. Entree, duck cassoulet with sausage and herbed bread crumbs. As much as I wanted to, could not finish the entree or order any dessert. The table next to us recommended the lavender creme brulee. If two people in your party, it's great to share dishes and order more. Doing so makes it very reasonable in price as well. I will be back!
