Unfortunately they are about the only place in town that does take dancing seriously to a level that someone could make a career out of it. With that saying, if you only want to dance as a hobby and do not strive for a long life career you are treated as second best by the instructors. I think this is too much pressure for a young child. I was unhappy with the way I was treated when I did not enroll my child in more than one dance class. They were friendly and courteous prior to asking me to enroll my daughter in another class. I felt after I declined the class I was treated differently. They were abrupt to me on the phone and when I would pick up my daughter after class. I decided to withdraw her from the academy and search for another one.
