I used Checker frequently when I lived here a few years ago, and have tried them three times. All have been a disaster. The employees who answer the phone are ignorant, don't check addresses, and promise a magic "10 mintues" every time. In one case, it was more than 30, in the second, it never showed up, and in the third, after 45 minutes we cancelled. They offered no reasonable explanation (or phone call). Totally unacceptable. Dispatcher is rude on the phone, defensive, poor service. Drivers, however, seem to be polite (at least the one that showed up).
