Upon arrival, I noticed the absence of Grady Spears' name. He is no longer affiliated with the restaurant, but it had no bearing on the menu or quality. I ordered the tenderloin with a potato gratin, asparagus and tobasco hollandaise. The steak was amazing, my sister had the smoked pork chop which was smokey, tender and very flavorful. Be careful not fill up on appetizers! The jalapeno corn muffins and cumin crisp were really good. I had the spinach salad and my sister's mixed greens salad was excellent. The citrus vinaigrette dressing was so good, I'm disappointed I can't buy it bottled!
Excellent overall. The menu is refreshingly unique, reasonably priced, and everything fresh and flavorful. Unlike most of the other chain restaurants that are popping up around First Colony, this one is a nice alternative when you want something original that hasn't been vacuum-sealed in a box.
Pros: Unique, Private Dining, Atmosphere
Cons: Parking
